I was looking at buying a Megan Racing exhaust header for my 2G Eclipse GS. I was just wondering what you guys think about it. Also what size the stock cat is, so I can make sure it will fit.

420a Megan Racing Header

I got a 98 N/T with those Megan Racing Headers, been beating on it for years, no problems. The car will probably be gone before the headers LOL. Great headers.

Not sure about what size the stock cat is, I think it might be on line if you Google it. I would just remove the cat and it'll flow better. Headers + removing cat = felt a nice little upgrade.

Then I did a pulley upgrade and it was amazing.

Everything you do will add up so remember that and only buy quality parts. Megan racing is definitely good to go!

Ok, I'm gonna try to get it, but I'm trying to figure out if what my cat is like to maek sure it'll connect to it. As you can see in teh picture, the downpipe is a bolt on, and I have a factory cat on my 1998 Eclipse GS and idk if it's the kind the slide it or bolt on. Does anyone know? I know I can just check but it's already dark outside so just wondering if anyone knew, until I check for myself tomorrow

Hey did you end up getting the Megan Racing Header (MR-SSH-ME95NT)? I'm thinking of getting it also, but I don't want to remove my catalytic converter. Does the Megan Racing Header force you to remove the cat?

You shouldn't have to remove your stock cat if you don't want to. Just make sure that the flange is the right one for the cat. Most headers come with a down pipe that will bolt to the cat.
