only for us N/T guys that is ..... if any of us were turbo we'd be saying different, but yeah, SSAutochrome is good for us



BTW, SSAutochrome makes a 4-1 header, I don't know about the DC 4-2-1 for our cars

I've got those ones, and you shouldn't be paying $375 for em. Go check out prostreet.com I think I payed like $300shipped. I had a noticable accleration gains from the 1-5k rpm range, but if your broke, the ss's don't sound bad either. And if your planning on going turbo don't bother at all.
I"m supposed to be going turbo this month so I"ll be selling mine really soon. and I"ve got an AEM CAI that needs to go as well. So if your willing to wait, I'm sure I"ll have em posted in about a month. But its up to you.

well the 4-1 design header helps out in top end and the 4-2-1 design would help you out more in the low to mid rpm range.

Don't expect much unless you already have a CAI and a catback. You are looking at mabey 10 horse total(header+catback+CAI) Sucks but thats the 420a.You'll find your car revs alot easier and can actually get to redline. These mods prep your engine for other things like nitrous or agressive cams. The better your car breathes the better it will run. Plus the sound is tits IMO.

BTW I have run my SSAUTOCHROME since march 2004 and it does excellent. No leaks nothing
also look at a UDP to free up horsies already locked up in your crank. Great mod

like the said, dont expect more than 2HP. But they do make the car smoother at all RPMs. The sound gets deeper, too. SSautochrome gets my vote for us N/Ts.
