i had some special studed bolts for that from when the stock one was on, and i just used those.. so the bolt went in, then the piece your talking about, then a nut on top of that i believe... so its almost like the stock is, or if you use one of your stock bolts, just put it ontop of the header, and put the bolt in, it shouldnt hurt anything, as long as its tied down, who cares.... good luck..

it gets bolted into the header, fits no problem.
sorry link didnt work, check my gallery nice shot of what you need
As far as the cat problem you ran into, try having both bolts snap off then not having a easy out. I had to start a pilot hole then move to a huge titanium drillbit and bore it out.took like 2 hours. But I got nice new stainless nutz and bolts there now so when I finish my exhuast, I don't have to replace it.

ya i told my friend "oh we gotta figure out how to get around that" and he says "oh i already did that, just flipped it up" LOL whatever it worked. ya i think we went through the same thing, cuz altho i had the easy outs, they didnt work at all, and i ended up just drilling a nice big hole for the new bolts. but thanks for the help, i got it all installed and working good.

i wish i had stainless nuts

I looked but only saw stuff for a turbo 4g63 sorry :(

Cool. Thanks for checkin. I'll look around at other 1g Headers. This thread got me wanting some headers bad. I'll probably hold off on the CF hood and get headers instead.. After all performance comes before looks on my car. :D

Keep metal polish on it every week, it will not change anymore.
