i had some special studed bolts for that from when the stock one was on, and i just used those.. so the bolt went in, then the piece your talking about, then a nut on top of that i believe... so its almost like the stock is, or if you use one of your stock bolts, just put it ontop of the header, and put the bolt in, it shouldnt hurt anything, as long as its tied down, who cares.... good luck..
whatever it worked. ya i think we went through the same thing, cuz altho i had the easy outs, they didnt work at all, and i ended up just drilling a nice big hole for the new bolts. but thanks for the help, i got it all installed and working good.
