I took out my DMM and starting testing some wires because my driver window and only my driver window on my Spyder wasn't working. I think i have come down to the window motor. I have 12v goinng into the motor but nothing happens. I couldn't check ground because my DMM leads were too short to reach the "black box" were the grounds are located. I took the motor out of the door and with a extra car battery i keep around put one wire to the + and one to the - of the connector. At this point i should get something out of the motor right? I get no humming or movement at all that means my motor is done right?

you are correct. if you hook it up in one polarity it should run one way and in the other polarity it should run opposite. as has been the case with any window motor ive ever encountered.
