So my TSI when in park idles fine, but then when you start driving and going 20km or faster it starts to sputter and then die.

i replaced the alternator, bought a new battery and its still doing this, any ideas?

Could be a variety of things

Boost leak
Spark plugs and/or wires
Fuel pump
Fuel filter

We need a little more info on the problem.

its completely stock, running stock boost,
But why would any of that cause the battery to die?

by dieing i dont mean the car shuts off i mean its drained of all its power and the battery wont have enough power to turn it over

Check for loose connections. I did a battery relocation on mine and forgot to tighten up the cable to the distribution block. If i went over 60 or went wot it would sputter, die, and not want to crank. Also try mpi/mfi relay.

Did you buy a new alternater or get a used one? Could be also the the single wire is that has a nut to hold it on may have a break in it some where and could be grounding out. I would hit that with a volt meter and check that out.

it was a rebuilt alternator from Napa, Im Gunna go check all the wires this morning and then see if i find anything, thanks for the input everyone!

did you test your new alternator to see if it charge it might be new but it does not mean it work fine
