hey just a question for everyone out there, i know you are supposed to tap and weld a bung into the uicp for the iat sensor, my question is how bad would it be if i was to drill into the pipe and jbweld it into place? I did this with a boost fitting off the j pipe and it has held in place. Lemme know what you guys think and please no flaming, i know welding would be better but i do not have access to a welder,

Do you ever plan on replacing it? I'm about to go the same route but I'm going to have someone weld the bung in. I don't want the fight if I ever need to replace it. Also I don't want to worry about it popping off when I'm boosting. Do it once and do right the first time is my motto.

There are alot of people that have done this on the dsmap forums and made it work in a pinch situation.

It really comes down to "do you really want JB weld in you're engine bay" i completely agree with hhuricane, do it once and do it right.
