A little premature but so far, yes-->Would you choose a different pressure plate next time (higher or lower clamp force)?
Hard to say but probably not on this application. SS is good.-->Would you choose a different clutch disk friction material next time?
Same as above.-->If your clutch wore out, how long did you have it for and mileage before it wore out the actual friction linings as a direct relation to usage, not due to other circumstances like hydraulics, pedal assembly or adjustment issues.

Reviving this since my SS-B clutch only made it 9,366 miles before it was toast, slipping, not enough holding to make it up the driveway. Power not much. Elevation 7000 ft, 15psi best with 91 pump, no racing, no launches, daily stop & go commuting. Other than only lasting almost (but not quite) 10K miles, clutch drove great. You'd think it would have made it more miles.

Well that blows buddy, I'm sorry! Have you pulled the trans yet? When you do, let me see what the disk looks like.

-->I really don't remember this information. My receipt says "CH 735 TZ Clutch Kit". If that doesn't help, I don't think I've changed my profile info regarding the clutch since then so I guess it is/was a DXD TZ kit. Whatever that came with. :p

I believe I ran that quick 15 with this clutch years back; I know for a fact I never made it to the dyno

I think it is getting to a point where it is finally beginning to slip a little on take-off and if I accelerate too quickly. But hey, it has lasted me a long time so I enjoyed it. When the time comes, I'll decide whether to go back with this one or back to stock as I don't need much anyway and stock is probably lower cost.

Glad to help! LOL
This one gave up the ghost and was replaced in 2016 with a…

It was at 10+ years and 89k miles when I posted at first. It ended up going 113,938 miles before replacement, lasting 12 years and 1 month.

Bolt-ons only. No track time. I did switch to an Evo III 16g 2-3 years into using this clutch, but only at wastegate pressure.

-->Would you buy the same one again? Yes
-->Would you choose a different pressure plate next time (higher or lower clamp force)? No
-->Would you choose a different clutch disk friction material next time? Maybe. This one may have been a little too grabby? I might also chalk that up to adjustment but, meh, it worked.
-->If your clutch wore out, how long did you have it for and mileage before it wore out the actual friction linings as a direct relation to usage, not due to other circumstances like hydraulics, pedal assembly or adjustment issues.
It just got replaced after 89,793 miles where slipping in 3, 4, and 5th gears was noticeable and frequent. So 8 years, 9 months, and I replaced it with…

I’ll review this one later on down the road. So far, so good. :thumb:

I love my kit. Was the SS plate, B series full ceramic disk, and act flywheel. It’s easy to drive, easy to slip, grabs strong and doesn’t chatter. Love it. Couldn’t be happier.
