sounds like a bad problem

so i have a cracked valve cover and i leak oil. i went to a store bought a quart of oil and put it in drove to a barber shop, and when i came out and started the car this happened. now let me say the car was driving fine before i put the oil in.

Sounds like lifter tick, or something in there pull the cover and look inside for anything loose. May want to inspect and not drive it.

could overfilling with oil cause this problem? because it was fine until i put some oil in it, and let it sit for about 20mins

Oil is oil a lubricant this sounds like lifter tick or something in the head ticking.

i can be lots of stuff. It can be a coincidence that it started making noise after you put oil in it.

Does the sound go away when the car warms up.?

its more then just a sound it also effects the way the car preforms, the car sounds like that, also i dont know if you can hear in the video, but the car kind of sounds like it has bigger cams, like it sputters. but would i be able to tell anything just by removing the valve cover

Look for loose rockers perhaps, it could just be lifter tick mine did for a while til replaced them get there and check it out. Not sure.

lifter tick wouldnt cause the whole car to sound messed up at idle right? at idle the exhaust would sputter the car would kind of sound like a diesel engine
