im currently converting my auto tsi to a manual and im at the point where i need to remove this plate but the bolts are locked down is this common??

unfortunately my impact is a pos i just broke two of them by doublewrenching but on the 3rd bolt one of my wrenches snapped smfh

These can be found at any Oreilly or Autozone. They are long and half inch and wont break. You'll need to put something in the crank sprocket and have it against the floor so it can't slip. Also make sure you are using 6 point sockets. They are a bi*** to get out but with enough leverage you can do it.
