"Solid" Front Motor Mount on the Cheap

Figured I would share what I had done on my front motor mount.
I got the idea because i heard people were using hockeypucks as motor mounts, and i also heard that they used hockey pucks to lift ranger bodys.



I had some ford lift blocks lying around....

Then I pressed it into the Motor Mount, and was ready to go.

Yeah i have like 10 left haha.
i bought a ford lift kit then my ford (fraud) died.
big time pile of S>
I have no clue how well this will work, or if it will hold up.
But, im going to stick it in the car for sure!
If you want one or two (i believe it fits rear too?), let me know, i can ship it out to you.

They are roughly 2 3/4 inch diameter, but thats measuring wit some measuring tape...

I think the bolt going though there with the engine torquing will round it out fairly quickly.
 
Yeah, they seem pretty tough, but they do have those pockets in them, who knows, i might fill em up with JB weld or something...

Yes, that is a possibility i most certainly hope will not occur. :)
If it does, then i will have a solid one made.
