1G So I can't recirc the BOV because I have a long route ebay intercooler?

Ask Me, Virginia
Someone before my time installed a long route type FMIC. I haven't read much, but the little reading that I did seems to indicate that I won't be able to recirc the BOV. It looks like I have a Greddy knockoff BOV that someone installed.

What do I do in this case?

Not really wanting to install a new FMIC.

Thanks for any pointers.

That is a funky placement and coupler for the bov.

Turn it the right way and find a piece of radiator hose's/fittings and make it work.

Maybe just get a new pipe piece with the correct flange and a 1g bov?

I took an extra piece of heater core hose and it fit perfect into bov valve and just taped it up. its been fine but going to get replaced one day.

Lol, I know.

Someone installed auto parts store accordion type intake hose with no recirc connection. Thinking of modifying my stocker and just leaving it upside down to save money.

My GVR4's ETS setup has the BOV sitting in a weird location as well.

After thinking about this, I believe the biggest limitation is the intake hose.

I agree that a 1g BOV wouldn't be that bad an option.

You can use flexible pool/spa type hose like Wes did. Works well for tight spots.

That is hot! I also found a new pipe with potentially "better" BOV placement. Wondering if it is sitting low like that because the car has ABS.

Either way I'll get there.

Looks like your pipe is upside down. The bov should be on top.
My ETS street kit has the BOV upside down so it's possible it installs that way. As you can see the pipe can only go one way which will make the BOV face down.

My old school ExtremePsi upper hard pipe has the bov mounted that way as well. I don't see what the big deal is. It isnt hurting anything and dont see anything wrong about it. It serves its purpose...
