Made a duct for the radiator to improve cooling. Air through the FMIC will no longer escape around the radiator. Should be a pretty drastic change based on the results from a friends 1g.

The bottom part you see is 1/16th aluminum, maybe a bit thinner. The sides are ABS plastic. The material was just scrap from a family member.

I was going to test this weekend, but the weather is showing 100*. Not really in the mood to bake in the car...

Car is ready to go though. I'll be testing the nitrous tonight and adding a purge valve. Solenoid is controlled by ecmlink.

Redid the fuel sender. Added bulkheads for the wiring.

I still drive this car to work a lot. It's really enjoyable. I'm going to look into getting a set of wheels/tires for the street, possibly the same wheel but with a radial or sticky all season.

It's nice being able to enjoy the car when not racing as well!

I plan to get a lot of good video at the next track outing and make a short film.

Nitrous was definitely the answer. It comes up almost instantly now. Might go test this weekend depending on the weather.

Took the car back to the track for its second outing.

Ended up with a 9.93@140mph. Unfortunately it was pushing through the brakes at 7psi so I was launching there before I triggered the light/timing stuff too bad.

I am VERY happy it went single digits

Although I was hoping for a better 60'. Once I get this car to stay still at the line and leave at my desired boost (15-20lbs), I should be able to net a high 1.3/low 1.4 60' knocking off a good amount from the ET.

Not too much going on with the car now. Waiting for IFO this weekend, then the Shootout in a few weeks.

We are finally wet-sanding and polishing the car this week as I'm entering a local car show next weekend.
