Langley,
are both of my shifter cables supposed to be adjustable? Only one of my cables has an adjusting nut on it and the other one doesn't. it's a 93 NT 5 speed, obviously.

When I ordered new shifter cables for my 1g using CAPS they came with only 1 adjustment. It is quite posible that the shifter cables in your car have been replaced some at some point.

are the cables for the 91-94's the same, for NA and Turbo? so are you saying that I should only have one adjustable cable? My Haynes manual says that both should be adjustable, that is why I am asking.

Both cables are adjustable on 1990's. Future years have only one adjustable cable.

thanks d, I just got a new tranny put in and I don't think the shop adjusted things properly.
