The cables should need zero adjustment after a clutch install.

Leave the car in neutral while putting the shift linkage back on the transmission. Be sure you bled the system thoroughly.

Take off the cables and try to put the vehicle in reverse by hand at the transmission.

Yeah I had to take the trans off twice because I didnt shim the pivot ball the first time. It is now but it still wont go into reverse... I'll make sure to adjust my clutch pedal/ Master cylinder properly but does it make sense for it to go in every other gear except reverse if the clutch pedal isnt adjusted right?

I always had trouble with reverse in my car too. Even adjusted properly Id still be fighting with it, but itd go in. Maybe try putting the pedal on the floor, then go to 4th right before you try reverse.

But yes, it does make sence. If the clutch isnt getting enough disengagement it wont allow you to get into x gear/s
