shaking steering wheel cv axle?

A while back I changed my cv axles up front because I started getting a vibration, also the cv boots were cracked they were the original cv's. S I replaced the passenger side first and the problem still existed. I the changed out the driver side and It fixed it for a while until the cv axle somehow slipped off of the input shaft. It started banging against the firewall and the oil pan. So just seeing if anyone else has had this issue and what you guys think, I hate to go In there again but whatever. Just fyi's the cv'c I got were aftermarkets from oreilly's, It really only does this on cold start and when it is warm, it does it around 40-50 mph in 4th and 5th gear and again around 75. When the cv axle slipped off it chewed up a few teeth on the output shaft. When I was under there I noticed the shocks were pretty outdated. Any help helps Thanks guys

it probably bent when it came lose and the previouse vibration was probably from wear. i'd say replace it before it causes wheel or transmission bearing damage
