So after my incident with the crank pully bolt coming out because I didn't loctite it, bent all valves, when installing the cams back into the head, I overlooked replacing the camshaft seals.
Eventually, it sprung an oil leak a few hundred miles later. Saturated the timing belt, and so I needed to replace it, even though it had less than 1,000 miles. Replaced that and replaced the cam seals and fixed the leaky mess.

After getting it back together and took it for a drive, went into the movie theater, watched the Fast and the Furious 4, came back out and did a small pull, and noticed knock was full on like crazy. SO now my car has a small amount of blue smoke coming out of the exhaust when revved a little at idle.

But now its just dog slow and knock is crazy high.

I dont see how I could jump a tooth from being parked? Right after I got in to do a small pull it was full on knock.

I will check the timing, I have the wrong sensor so I need to wait AGAIN for the right one.

I highly doubt its phantom knock, I dont hear any rattles, knocks, or anything. Let alone the sensor being bad, so even a slight one would be picked up, I will see what happens with the new sensor in. IF the sensor did go tits up, then its probably picking up every noise under there known to man, and seeing it as knock causing that timing pull. For some reason I have a hunch its the sensor, but then you never know, it is a damn shitsubishi. If it does not take care of the problem, I will go to the next step with phantom knock.

I question the 'wiseness' of anyone that PAYS to see ANY of those movies...

That said are you using a wide-band or anything? 66% DC and .87 volts sounds lean to mean...

Check your timing too.

Yes AEM is installed. power cord was not hooked up during those pulls. But it is now, its being a garage queen until the new sensor is here.

Pays to see the F&TF? Now I'm not sayuing they are the greatest movies, and lets not all jump on the bandwagon here because everyone else thinks they are dumb, but thats what BLEW UP the import scene big time. There was a small import scene, but after the first one, it skyrocketed. They are good entertainment, by no means are they realistic obviously, but can't you say that about ANY movie nowa days? I mean music is the same way, they distort people voices to make them sounds better/cooler/or whatever and they sell like crazy so everyone starts doing it and pretty much its just recording of a voice and changing the pitch, yet people LOVE that stuff, me included. Most Media new days has a lot of fiction. period. :)

no for some reason I cant get it onto excel, and it stopped monitoring right before the first pull.

once the new sensor is in along with a new ISC, I'm going to log it one more time to see what happens. If nothing happens, I'll borrow my pops' timing light and check that out.

UPDATE!
New ISC installed, need to reset the biss though, the idle is crazy high.

Knock sensor installed, the old one was bad, but the new one did not fix the issue.

Seems as if I may have jumped timing.
Checking timing tonight and I will update.

cylinders 2 and 3 have oil on the tops of the pistons, I'm thinking that the valve stem seals were not replaced by the machine shop in everett when they said they did, after they swapped parts over from one head to another.

Thats my next project.

This car is on the verge of going bye-bye so I can get my 94 TT Supra. It's just too damn hard when you love the thing.
