Hey guys,

I either dont know the proper terminology or I didnt do a thorough search but I cant find an answer for this issue.
I bought an AWD Talon that was at the beginning stages of being parted out and one thing that was parted was both fuel sending units. These are very hard to find but I managed to find both seperately in different states. The driver side sending unit filter cage looks like it is brittle and falling apart and I dont want to put it in my tank and have the chance of clogging or sending any pieces through my fuel system.

My question is where can I find a replacement screen cage thing, or can I just eliminate it? I posted a photo of it below. Thanks everyone.

Anyone have an idea on this?

Hey everyone,

I am still looking for suggestions with this screen situation. Any ideas?

This is the best I could find, looks identical, couldn't find a specific eclipse/talon one tho. At least it's cost effective and mitsu :idontknow:

That's the full link, it's STMs site for evo 7-9 in tank filter baskets.

The stainless mesh one you pictured may work, but I think you'd have to do some finagling to get it to work.
