you won't know what you need until you take it to a machine shop to have bore and taper checked. if it has any miles on it, then it has wear on it. once you know what you're starting with, then you order the pistons, and take them to the machine shop, and they match the new bore to those new pistons.

we'd all love to keep "stock bore", but unless its brand new or nearly that, it won't be possible.

Why are you trying to avoid machining the block?

If your block is typical of what I have seen, the block is tilted .003-.005

The block oil oil galley is crusty and half clogged with cast flash.

If your going thru the trouble of taking your engine apart and buying new internals, def do not skip the machining. It's actually very important and done right will give you more power and reliability. Wouldn't want to spend good money only to have to spend way more.
