In the end it boils down to personal preference and the owner’s budget. I have used plenty of aluminum and titanium rods for past builds but none were in a 4G63 platform, therefore I can not comment on their specific use in such.

I do not mean to harp on the budget question; I am well aware that most do not have one or take it into consideration. In reality all know or have an idea of how much they realistically have to spend on a given project within a given time frame. Therefore I find it pointless to debate whether someone should spend $350 or $1000 on product X when they only have $400 to spend.

Call Mike at r&r. They build the best aluminum rods out there. Brent Rau and Jeff Bush use these rods. They supply magnus motorsports rods.

If you state that "budget" is not an issue, then why not simply buy the absolute best parts out there. They are easy to spot as they typically carry the larger price tag. You have been given some very nice advice and I think that you are well on your way. You state revving out to 9.5K so you have to also consider head work and the quality of your tune.
