hey guys,
ive got an idea. can you put the spray on bed liner thats textured and is supposed to protect against everthing on your exhaust pipes? i just bought an apexi n1 full exhaust and its aluminized steel so i was wondering if you could put rhino liner on it to keep it fron rusting? has anyone ever done it and do you think it will hold up to the heat. just an idea let me know what you think.

it was just an idea. you dont have to be a prick about it. just thought i could get an answer and a reason why or why not.

I've ran aluminized exhausts and intercooler piping for a few years in the PA winters, and I don't have any rust anywhere. No paint, coating, nothing. Looks as good as the day I bought it.

dont sweat it guy, he was (like all of us) a little thrown off by your "free thinking" concept here. I see where you were going with it though, just that it's highly impractical, for cost, weight and function. Thats not dsm style.....

I think High temp spray paint would be a better choice. The problem is the rusting from the inside. Spraying the inside of the pipe would be difficult. You would have to get inventive to get it done. Heck. Now that I think about it I think it might be cool to have red exhaust piping.
shrug.

aluminized will prolly out last how long you own the car. think of how long the factory exhaust lasts
