On my ride i run the SRS 3"inch stainless steel cat-back exhaust i purchased on E-bay for $200.00 shipped to Alaska & i like it sound's good & looks good & i've owned it for 1 1/2 years & it still looks great so if i was you & are looking at purchasing an exhaust off E-bay this would be the way i would go no doubt.

there are so many to choose from. they all do the same thing, but one always out performs the other. i plan on getting one next friday.

Like i said if your buying an exhaust off e-bay this is one i would buy again & again very nice craftsmanship imo is the only way to go.:hellyeah::thumb::cool:

I purchased the exhaust in the link. The company makes exhausts for tons of cars so they just show a generic picture. The one I received was of good quality and I had no issues with it. Search ebay exhaust or tsudo exhaust and you'll find threads on this system. It gets only positive reviews and I would never pay double the price just for a name brand system.

Well personally, if that is 3", I would chop off the flanges and put on some vbands. If it's not 3" you just wasted $100.

I wouldn't put anything but a 3" exhaust on any DSM. Not worth the investment for 2.5" anymore.

The system is 3". Again, the seller (japanimportshop) sells exhaust systems (sometimes branded as Tsudo) for many different cars. They show the same picture for every listing, regardless of what car it is for.

Just to reiterate, the exhaust you will receive if you order this system is 3" and will not be the one pictured. It will be the correct two pieces of piping from the cat-back on an awd 2g DSM. It also has two resonators just so you know since the one pictured only has one and the muffler does have a 4.5" tip. That's about all you need to know about it.

i heard the srs exhaust. wasn't the sound i was looking for, but then again i only heard it on a sti.

anybody have one with a dsm.

I've heard the SRS on a 2g GSX before, but there isn't much of a way to describe it to you. What I can tell you is every exhaust with a big "can" style muffler sounds very similar. On a cat-back exhaust, the things that have an effect on sound are pipe diameter, resonators, and the muffler. Since most exhaust systems for our cars come with these "can" style mufflers, the best solution imo would be to purchase a 3" system, chop off the muffler, then buy a different style muffler such as a Magnaflow and weld that on.

All these ebay exhausts look like they neck down to 2.5in so they can connect to the stock cat. Are there any that dont do this? Looks like only the big dollar name brand exhaust dont neck down. Because they come with a bolt on adapter instead.
