I have the 1g awd megan exhaust on my car starting with megan downpipe the megan test pipe and megan cat back. I will snap some pictures of it for ya and get a sound clip as well. I am using a punishment racing o2 dumped housing.

Sweet! I was going to dump the Wastegate. But I have a Tubular Header, Tubular O2 housing for my Hybrid 60trim, 3" turbo back, 3" Aluminum Intake... So I know if I Dump the wastegate back into the O2 housing, I'll be enjoying that lovely and very loud HISSSSSSSSSS everytime the turbo spools. Instead of loud ass anoying exhaust sound.

I have a Megan system on my 1990 - Megan downpipe and catback. I think it's a pretty good system except that it would not fit the car with the Megan test pipe bolted in. So my test pipe is a custom one done by Andre at Pina Motorsports.
With the Megan test pipe bolted in, the aft section (with the muffler) was way too low, the Megan hanger rods on the muffler section were about 2" too low to go into the rubber hangers on the car. But the 2 aft sections (the whole catback) fit the car ok without the megan test pipe. The downpipe fit amazingly well considering how little space there is between the oil pan and the tranny. The downpipe is 3" there unlike some of the other ones that are 2.5" until aft of the flex section.
The test pipe was irritating as hell because it is not marked for up, or forward. So there are 4 possible positions you could try to make it fit. I tried every position twice, just to make sure. 2 of the positions were way off. The other 2 were close, but the best one resulted in the 2" mismatch mentioned above. What a pain.
Anyway I like it now with the custom test pipe. It sounds good. It does come awfully close to the front end of the differential, but it doesn't seem to be rattling. I do have some really stiff aftermarket rubber hangers that Andre put in to replace all the stock ones. They keep the whole exhaust system from moving around very much. I think with the old stock hangers it would be banging into the diff.
I'll put a few pics in below. There is more I could say about this system and the "tech support" at Megan ROFL , maybe I'll make a thread about it someday.

The muffler section is dead straight, but as you can see in this pic the flange is at a slight angle where it bolts to the resonator section. That kicks the muffler section up at about a 2 degree angle from the resonator section.
This pic is before the custom test pipe was made. The piping is not this low now.

Yeah the big bend is forward of the diff. It makes the piping cross over from left of the drive shaft to right of the drive shaft. It's on the right side (passenger) that it gets real close to the diff.
Here's a pic of how low the muffler section was with the Megan test pipe in. This is not just hanging free either, I had it pulled up with a nylon tie on the aft hanger.
After this I added some steel wire there where the nylon tie is and drove it 30 miles to Andre's shop to get the custom test pipe made.

You might want to look at the Apexi N1 also - it's surprising how much clearance I have with it installed. No joke - it passes not more than an inch in front of the diff... very well made tolerance-wise. The exhaust is angled in the rear too. I'll take some pictures tomorrow if you want to see.

I like the angled "N1" look too, like the Megan and Apexi systems. You know the pics you see of the Megan pipes always so polished looking and nice welds and all. Well I was surprised - it actually looks that good in person too. Very nice looking system. It's pretty loud too which I like. And every bit of it is stainless steel. The catback is 3" all the way through. None of that necked down crap to fit a stock cat or whatever.
Ok you may have wondered why none of the dealers seem to have a real pic of the 1g Megan catback system. It's because Megan doesn't have any real pics of a 1g system!
Well now they do because I sent them some of the system they sent me not fitting the car! Their pic of the 1g downpipe is accurate. It's the catback and test pipe they don't have proper pics of.
Anyway I would recommend the downpipe and catback system to anyone willing to do a custom test pipe. And maybe there was something not typical about the parts they sent me. But I wouldn't count on them correcting the problem whatever it is. I wouldn't count on their return policy either.

HA, here's my favorite pic. This is the crow-foot I had to make to get at the nuts holding the downpipe to the O2 housing. No such problem with any other downpipe that I know of, but on this one the 2.5 " diameter section of the downpipe is only about 1" long. If they had just made it maybe 2" long you could fit a normal socket in there. But no. Snap-on flare nut type crow foot $22 plus bench grinder and a pan of cold water plus an hour or so grinding the tips of the crow foot to fit the situation. Fortunately I love making tools.
Look at that - made in USA! Don't see that much anymore.

Oh well I'm going to be doing all new stuff. Custom O2 Housing for my 4bolt 60-1 and 38mm Wastegate, Megan DP, Custom Test Pipe, Megan Catback. I wanted to make it myself... but I think for the quality and looks that suit my needs and wants, I think 400 for the Megan Exhaust isn't bad.
