Megan exhaust +downpipe + cat

Hi all,

Can the Megan 3' turbocatback exhaust be coupled with a magnaflow cat and megan 3' downpipe. What downpipe would fit an otherwise stock GSX?

Well, first of all, the Megan downpipe is a cat-eliminator. So if you want to run that one specifically, you'll have to chop a section off for where the cat would go. Here is another 3" option that will allow you to run a cat:

Also, when you're looking into getting a cat, you'll have to look into getting a 3" one since you're going to be running a 3" exhaust. You don't want to be running a 3" exhaust with a 2.5" cat as that will be a major restriction.

Like the poster above said the megan unit is a cat delete. If you wanted you would have to cut then reweld to be able to run a cat with it. Do you have emmisions where you live? If not why worry about it and run the cat delete version. Frees up a decent bit of power.

I have emission where I live so i'll go with the RRE downpipe on top of the megan catback system and high flow cat.

I have a megan down and a mag cat but i have a custom cat back with limited bend. I just bought the downpipe i didnt buy everything like you did so mine isnt eliminated.
