2 wires were pinched together from previous work in the 4th injector harness. ill have to take it more careful with the wiring, going to figure out why it says 380 for coolant temp now 😂🤦🏻♂️
welp bad news and good news, found the problem, bad news gotta dig into the whole damn harness.
in my continuity test on the G/R wire on pin 15 has none
i do tho have continuity on the G/Y wire on pin 2
Y/B to pin 14 i have continuity
G to...
i thought they were both oem. the one on the left is the one the car came with and it doesn’t seem damaged in anyway, the right is the one i bought from the parts store.
You are right. I gave rock auto a look and all bosch O2 sensors look the same. Bosch narrow band upstream and downstream o2 sensors look the exact same, too.
I run a stock 02 narrow band 0-1v in the front o2 channel for closed loop fuel trims and idle control. I run a wide band 0-5v in the rear o2 channel, and yes You can configure Link to various sensors or custom specs. The narrow band 02 sensor...
Looks like a wideband bosch LSU sensor to the left and a OEM style low-band Denso sensor to the right.I'm not familiar with ecm link to know if you can run a wideband sensor to it or not.
changed the o2 out with a brand new one did notice the volts shown in ecm link were alot higher now around 4volts instead of the 1.50ish volts the other one was putting out, still goes into open loop.
tps volts are 0.63 as shown in ecmlink...
You're not going to find much info on user-specific spool times for the V3 version of the 68HTA much less comparison between that and the previous two versions. It's literally a month or two old. Things to consider...the V1 68HTA uses a 49mm...
I know it's 2023 and these questions are still being asked, but looking around on the forum, the question of Evo 1 & 2 still hasn't been concretely answered.I have what I'm fairly certain is an Evo 1 or 2 exhaust manifold, which both share part...
the problems of a dsm right? gas gauge doesnt work anymore since putting it back together, weird sendings units got 70k miles on it fuses all look good.
finally got that hideous blue coupler covered up man was it an eye sour hopefully the purple...
got it installed today didn’t realize the exhaust side of the turbo wasnt stock so i had to swap the one from the turbo i had on there. also the oil drains finally looking better, hopefully shes up and running later today 🤟🏼
I just read this whole thread and now I'm rooting for you man. You're so close! Some people have touched on the oil drain. edit: I looked at the photo again and it looks like you fixed it with the new drain kit! You're crushing this build...
If the pump runs, but there is no pressure, look at the O-ring seal between the pump and the pump hanger. I use the AEM340 with a stock hanger, but I needed to make a couple of modifications to keep the o-ring in place.
new new 🤟🏼 unfortunately its the ebay special til i can get my built turbo done with justin. didnt want to risk any more issues with the other turbo, if i did rebuild it, the bolt holes for mounting and the 02 housing were all f***ed up anyways...
Yes! - like that. Closed loop happens when Throttle position switch is closed, and engine running, and narrow band o2 is cycling up and down. There is a moment in the log when the ECU indicates closed loop, and then it stops. Not sure why...
Dangit, man. It doesn't sound right. The cylinders should be hitting on a nice consistent cadence, like cha, cha, cha, cha. It sounds like when you'd have a distributor 180 out on an old school motor. Like it's firing the spark before TDC on the...
Note:
A. ECMLink CAS checkbox only affects the injector sequencing. In either position the engine should run, but one way is better than the other. 1G CAS or 2gb CAS - you should turn it on.B. Spark 1 and 4 go to one coil, and 2 and 3 go to...
