Hey guys I need opinions on my exhaust. I am currently in the middle of a tear-down and ran into something. I was planning on getting it all back together then taking it to the exhaust shop and getting the exhaust done. But I hit a snag. I got a tubular manifold and it sticks out a little farther than the stock one. So of course my O2 housing doesn't meet up with the down pipe. So Im gonna have to tow it to the exhaust shop before I can rap it up. Here's my question: Option 1: I can either utilize my 2'' downpipe for now. Just add 2.5 from the cat back to the muffler. Or Option 2: I can get a 2.5 downpipe and go 2.5 all the way back to the muffler. But with that will a stock O2 housing bolt up to a 2.5 downpipe? Oppinions and suggestions will be appreciated.

Or should I go 3'' exhaust. My setup will be evo 3 16g, Big fmic, 2.5 ic piping, tubular manifold, supra pump, thats it for now will be adding lightly later on.

You could go either. A 2.5" will bolt up to the stock o2, a 3" will not. You could get a megan downpipe, which starts at around 2.5" then increases to 3" the rest of the way after about 3 inches down from the flange.

I personally would just port your Stock o2 housing and go with a 2 1/2 dp to a 3 in cat...
