Resolved Reverse Lights, What am I missing

Tell me what I'm missing:

Two wires off Tranny, Black is hot, nothing from red.
Interior fuse is good, has power to both contacts
Bulbs are good, but there is no power to either wire on the bulb harness.

Please tell me that I don't have to rewire from the fuse box back...

You either have a defective backup light switch or the washer under it is missing or wrong thickness.

The washer was present, so I did a continuity test on the female portion of the switch by pushing the ball in and out. There was no opening of the circuit so I replaced it. Vwala! Reverse Lights. Thanks.
