[RESOLVED] urgent! no oil pressure

my friend has just did a full rebuild and is not getting oil pressure. he just pulled everything apart and spun the oil pump the opposite direction and oil cam out to the head. my question is is it possible to install the oil pump backwards or was it the shaft thats backwards

is it just the gauge thats not reading. or is it actually not building pressure?

Fixed it. Had some Evo lifters in the head and they were blocking the oil passages in the head. We corrected it by putting in stock lifters for now. Thanks.
