[RESOLVED] is there a difference between clutch slave cylinders for 2wd and awd?

like the title says, advance lists 2 different ones but when you hit "see all vehicles this product fits" it lists all 3 models. i've heard of people making it work so my question is, would it? because i mean... it really doesn't seem like they should be different.

I believe the bleeder holes are in different locations and thats the difference. I think my last awd had a fwd front mm bracket and I did have to trim it.

1g awd (3/4" bore) 1g fwd (13/16" bore)

TooFast82 is correct, the bleeded is in a different location when comparing the two.

They are different. However you can make a fwd fit slave first an awd trans and you can make an awd slave fit a fwd trans. Not the best idea, but the two are swappable.

On my buddies car(AWD) we just had to bend the hardline a little. More like tweak it. i do believe we used the AWD banjo joint off the old AWD slave too. I'm almost certain that was it.

Are you guys all talking about 1Gs or 2Gs?

I'm currently running my FWD slave cylinder on my AWD tranny with no issues. No modifications were made for fitment, it was a direct bolt-on.

Also, can anyone verify that the internal bore diameter is infact larger on the FWD model? I've never heard of this before.

what about the one from an sohc car? and is there anyway someone could take a picture of where it mounts and how it connects to the fork?

Look it up on Oreilly's or Autozone's website. Thats where I got that info.
