I have a slight problem. Everythings been going very smoothly with the Prothane install. This is my first time ever to jack up the motor and such. I drilled out the old rubber mount and cut the ring out as well. When I go to put the Prothane in it has about 1/4 inch of play in every side. So as I'm scratching my head now it occurs to me that I believe I have ordered/been sent the one for the transmission side. Now luckily the ring I cut isn't completely off and will slide and stay back in the mount. When I use the ring, which I knocked out all of the rubber in it btw, with the new Prothane it has a nice snug fit. Would it be a problem to just use this Prothane mount for the driver's side or am I just asking for trouble? Like I said, it is a nice snug fit with the ring in it.

The part number on the box is: 13-501

ID: 7/8x1/2x2.915L

Is the correct one: 13-503

ID: 7/8x1/2x3.265L

I ordered from CI Motorsports and made sure I ordered the one that says driver's side btw.

Please help because I can't have my car sitting till I receive the correct part.

Something else just occured to me. Is it not fitting right because I'm Auto? I don't see why that should matter but just thought I'd ask just in case.

Ah. Well thank you sir. I went ahead and put the ring back in and pounded the hell out of it to get it to fit snug so I believe I will be ok. We will see though. The driver's side is bolted back up right now and I am working on the front mount as I type. Thanks again for the fast response. :thumb:
