I kinked and broke the fuel line under the filter when I was trying to remove it and have since been scouring the forums trying to find a solution. I do not have the $200+ for a tank to rail kit and the filter to rail kits (aside from also being spendy for me atm) plug into the stock fitting at the end of the line.

I thought I would share what I found after searching all over Google for a place that has a replacement fitting since no where in town had one.

This website has the fitting:

14mm x 1.5 male for 8mm tubing

I wasn't sure where to post this so I figured the Newbie forum was safe. Since I am only just now ordering it, I didn't think it would really fit in the Parts Feedback/Reviews forum if something like this even applies.

Sorry if I should have posted elsewhere but I hope this helps others who may be stuck.

to properly do this your going to need

2 of the male fittings
1 of the female fittings
a piece of tubing long enough to cut and flare
double flaring tool

your going to need to cut the hose prior to the kink and splice in a shorter piece of hose and hope it will seal properly.

I would try to get the joint from the old line to the new piece under the car as that line makes a 90 degree turn before going into the fuel pressure regulator.

I sheared my hard line trying to take off stock fuel filter...was less hassle to just replace with STM tank to rail kit. If you have already bought a filter, email them and they will price you the kit with out the filter, I did, as I had bought a fuel lab filter to replace my stock but ended up shearing hard line off. STM price me the tank to rail kit with out the filter. I'm happy with it, instal is super easy. Good luck

The only piece I needed to replace was the male fitting on the bottom of the filter. Also, I was lucky enough not to damage below the bend so I just have to cut right below where I broke it to make it straight. I borrowed a double flaring tool from AutoZone's rent-a-tool.

I bought a stock-style filter, not a Fuelab which will be different fittings. Even taking out the price of the filter, that is too much for me right now and since it will be a long time before I am going to have the money to upgrade much more than stock, I'm trying to be inexpensive here.

Thanks for the pointer though and I will keep that in mind in the future.
