I have reached out to ECMTuning but haven't heard back so I though I would check here once again.

I have a non-eprom non-turbo 92 Eclipse GS with bad caps that are leaking and maybe some broken trace(s). I live in Sweden and would have to ship in the ECU if I go with ECMTuning which is US based.
So I was wondering if I should just buy a new ECU from ECMTuning (or some other place) or just wait for them to reply to see if they can repair it?

Is there nobody over on that side that is an electronics professional? An ECU is just a circuit board, there's nothing particularly special about it.
That being said, ECMTuning is more specialized in determining if damage was done to the operation of the ECU, but leaky caps and broken traces (how?) are usually pretty isolated unless they resulted in a short.

Have you tried contact via the ECMTuning forum?
