Well today I broke my transmission on a launch :(.. I am fairly new to these cars nd have never touched one of these tranmissions before.. I wanted to know if there is a website or link that can guide me thru removing my transmission nd putting a new one in?? Can someone help me please thanks!

Definately check vfaq man! But what exactly is going on with the car?

Well on the launch I heard some bang reall hard from the front.. After that car wound no move in any gear.. I look in back nd I noticed that I also posssible broke the rear alxe because it was wobbling around in the rear dif.. I looked under the front of the car and I saw oil dripping from wut it seems to be the tranmission.. Center dif may of broke nd cracked the casiing ill know for sure by later today or tommorew... Thanks for the info ppl..

Ya sounds like you did some serious work! Perhaps input shaft... Center diff, transfer case, or rear diff as well man.

steve, I've been trying to find that link for awhile. Thanks bud.

OP: It's a lot easier than you think. The only hard part is getting it back in. And remember when installing the new clutch, if you are, you must align it or the tranny will NOT line up properly with the block.
