Removing motor with out tranny

Removing the engine in my 94 gsx, I'm leaving the tranny in, do i still have to remvoe the drive line and transfer case? Also, can leave the AC unit on?

You can leave the ac on, transfer case take it off so you can remove the transmission.

You can leave the drivetrain in the car if it doesn't get in the way of pulling the motor. As for the AC, does it have freon in it and in working condition? If so, I would just undo it from the bracket and mount it out of the way without any kinks in the lines to save the freon.

I dont wanna remove the tranny, just the motor

Ok well you you need to unhook the block from the transmission the t case will be in the way, easier I think, I always remove my engine with transmission off.

You can do whatever you want but it is probably going to be more trouble than its worth.
