I'm recalling this from memory so it may not be 100% accurate.\
Remove spark plug wires then there is 8 10 (maybe 13)mm bolts to remove the valve cover. once the cover is removed, then you have to take off the cam holders
be careful not to snap any of the bolts into the head. remove the cams to get to the bolts holding the head to the block. i think there is 6 of them but cant remember the size. again, be careful not to snap any of these. after that the head should be free except for the thermostat housing, and the intake and exhaust manifolds.
I'm pretty sure i'm forgetting something, but that should be the most of it.

.hi I am new to the forum my name is James!
I am looking for a 22 Spline Transfer Case for M/T (the spline count is on the shaft that goes from the transfer case to the tranny) not the one that goes to the driveshaft thanks!!
!Just trying to get my 30 postingsso i can post a WTB ad
just saying not the way to go about itI am sure not a newbie thanks though!! I have knowledge in dsm's... I have already changed the clutch, alternator, cv shaft, oil pan gasket, and have removed the transfer case... I am pretty sure if i can do all of these repairs to a dsm that would make me not a noob right? just because you know how to write a post does not mean you know how to work on a car
