1G Rear end noise

The rear end on my 90 talon seems to crapping out. When I am accelerating or cruseing it seems fine but when I am slowing down and down shifting it makes a grinding noise from it. And it is only when I let off the clutch and only for about 1-2 seconds then the noise goes away. I just had the tranny rebuilt last about 2 years ago and have not put more than 200 miles on it. I have not launched it or beat on it so I do not think its the tranny. Any advise on this one??

Have you checked the oil level to make sure it is filled to the proper level? Have you drained the oil in the rear end to check for any metal or anything unusual?
