IMO the rear lights look good just like that.
with all those flashing, at night you would think he a cop.

Lol I just wanna see how you got the led to stay in place. How are they for night driving?

I like the tails, definently see the Audi A6 as your inspiration. I want to do something simular but run the LEDS along the top for the turn signals. What flasher do you use for the turn signals? Waytek, has a nice one.

I like em. I would like see something this for a 1g. Not sure how it would play out for a 1g really.
I was thinking something in the covers. Not the actual pop up (1ga > 1gb)
I will get a photoshop up asap.

Here is what I was looking at. Something similar to newer Audi headlights.
Clear/White LEDs in the front possibly extending to the side. And amber LED turn signals.
Two ideas, either top row hooking down. Or bottom row. Unsure really if it needs to continue to the side part to look right.
I really love what you did with your tails. Unsure as to how to really pull it off in a 1g tail. Unfortunatly, as much as I dislike 1gbs I think it would really be best pulled off with a 1gb rear end.

As far as the tails go. I would love to see something along the basic concept of what you have on your 2g. Not exact clone though.
All I really have planned for mine is, and LED conversion to include making the middle section light up.

I do want to make some to sell. I've received a couple requests already here on the forum as well as co-workers (non-DSM owners) wanting it done to their vehicles too. I haven't told anyone how I did it and I'm in the process of doing the mod to a friend's '02 civic (even though I hate hondas). I think for now, if I started up selling them, i'd only charge $50 for the labor plus the cost of shipping both ways and cost of the LEDs and wiring. I think that'd be fair for starting out.
Count me in. They look awesome! When you do finish them consider making a video showing them day and night, brake and no brake, and blinker. Both Headlights and Taillights.
And if you are serious about selling some, I'm serious about buying some!

I am serious about building them to sell, and glad to have another supporter. I will do the video after all is finished. But of course that's after I finish my R&D first.
Cool man, shoot me a PM when your done. I wanna be towards the top of your list! haha. I always thought our headlights would look good with the LEDs Audi Style since they are real long, but I'm not very savvy in that kind of stuff. The tails look awesome as well. Makes it look real modern.

Just a thought...maybe continue the led strip through the center piece.take the center apart sand the paint or whatever it is off the inside and it will show light through.I lit my center with 3 h3 bulbs and it gives a nice look IMO I have it tinted with vht nite shades too.

I do want to add the shades to the lights, but I want to find (or make) ones that are not glossy so it matches the center piece.
