im curious to how the LED affects the whole circuit voltage drop wise. everyone keeps saying they take next to nothing to power. your decreasing the load ... it should have an affect. if not, thats pretty sweet that we can modify our housing like this with little worry.

To make up for the volt drop, you can look on AZDAVE's website somewhere about this thing he did to the blinker box, replacing this bar with a specific sized wire to change the resistance. I had the link saved somewhere.

LEDs will effect the turn signals if you've got them there, however this is only on the Eclipse as they've got a fancy turn signal box and not a normal flasher relay like the Talon.

Apologize for digging up an old thread, but just curious if anyone ever made any progress on Talon tails... would be willing to pay a good amount for a nice set.

I understand the custom "being different" thing. i total support it. but imo less is more! imo its trying to make the car look like something its not.
But if you have all the supporting luxuries, then thats dope!

Dang. Was hoping someone made some progress on this. No one around me has one of these cars, let alone even knows what this car is, might as well try and make it even more unique.

I'm the only one to really do much with the Talon tails and I haven't touched my LED version in a long time, life has been in the way.
What have you done with the tails? Just curious. Like I said, looking to do something unique with this car, without slapping a body kit or anything like that on, and a nice set of tails would go a long way.

I've designed and built custom LED boards for all the tail light housings including lighting up the center section.

I've still got to finish the microcontrollers that actually run everything.
