Really like the lights man. I wonder what you could do with the talon tail lights. I have ideas running through my head... Hmmm haha well your not that far from me. Once I have some cash sitting around I might have to hit you up and maybe mosey on down south. Keep up the great work!

I've been wanting to come up with a design for the Talon but finding Talon lights in the salvage yard is a bi***. My first DSM was a Talon and still want another. I may end up there in Denver soon anyway though.

The more i look at those the more i think i like them and the red lens looks way better! Do you have it set up as plug and play or how hardis it to wire it in for the average joe?

As of right now, the setup isn't plug and play. I've been trying to get a tail light harness from a Talon so I can make it plug and play, but no luck so far. Trying to split the turn lights from the brake lights on the Eclipse harness isn't going too well. But even it not being plug and play, the wiring isn't too hard IMO. But then again, I enjoy wiring jobs.

Those tails look pretty sweet. Wouldn't it have been alot easier to put on some altezzas? JOKING! I like the more stock look but just something different. All I did with my tails was vht them and vht the chrome in my 2ga headlights. I didn't do the bulb reflecting material but the outside chrome.

He doesn't live in Nazifornia so he maybe ok. The lights will still be displaying the DOT stamp (since there in OEM housings) so unless the inspector or cop knows whats going on he should be ok. LED lights tend to be brighter. The Audi R8 lamps have the simular pattern.

I think I'm fine with the cops so far. I've driven by many cops, they've driven in front, beside, and behind me with only the LEDs on, and never had any issues. When I go to work, I always go through security gates and the only responces I've had, are good ones with cops thinking they're cool. The only negative responce, was one cop thinking they were blue.

I hate all the Altezzas out there. I like the black housed LED tails (which is how I started this project), but those weren't enough, so I went custom on it. The head lights are an extended version of what my best friend and I created a couple years ago. The head light mods were the starting point for the tails.

This isn't because of lack of interest (since I'd love to get them built for 1Gs), but I've been more focused on getting my car up and running for the past many months. I do look for lights each time I go to the salvage yard, however, most 1Gs are 1GBs, and the few 1GAs, have cracked or broken lenses. Just like the 2Gs. It's still a major work in progress.

I'm in the process of designing the PCBs for my LED tails on the Talon. Not looking forward to soldering over 1000 Superflux LEDs (4 legs per LED equals 4000 solider joints), ack!

Looks like your going for a Audi look.

I wanted a clean, fresh, uniqe look and I've always thought Audi did the best in LED usage, so Audi was the main inspiration.

I honestly wanted to use individual bulbs on curcuit cards and everything, but don't have the expirence beyond soldering. So my head and tails all only have LED strips from Pep-Boys. Once I learn all the engineering parts, I'll be doing the long, hard route of individual bulbs.

That's just it. I have circuit boards and led lights and I don't want aftermarket taillights for the lenses and base. Dough is for the trouble.
