My radiator fan is still not working.
I have replaced the relay and the fuse. I know the thermo switch is working because the rad and thermo switch came out of my other car that was working fine. I also have checked as much of the wiring I can get at and it all looks fine. I have close to full voltage coming to the thermo switch and very little resistance from the thermo switch to ground.
When I use a jumper wire accross the terminals on the relay, the fan comes on like its suppossed to, but the a/c fan comes on also. The a/c fan doesn't work when I push the button for the a/c though. WTF
Every time I buy a new relay, it works for a few minutes and then it quits again. The only thing I can think of is if I were to have a relay that could take more amperage, it would work because it is having to power both fans for some reason.
Any thoughts, ideas?
Thanks in advance!
