I just bought a probe with positive a negative wires. I see that the wire from the greddy, coming from the gauge, is also 2 lines (where it would usually plug into the probe). But these GReddy whiles go into a plastic plug, i guess to make probe installation easy. Anyways, can i just cut the plug off and attach the positive wires together and the negative wires together?
Also side note question, Right now it has the red light blinking, is this because of no signal from probe? i plugged in probe wires into EGT plastic socket thing, but it kept blinking. So im wondering if that just means no signal or it isnt hot enough. I havent drilled the mani to put the probe into yet because i wanna make sure the connection works...
hope this makes sense, hard to describe,
