Question regarding replacing tranny mount

Hey All,

I wanted to see if it's possible to remove/replace the transmission mount without having to remove the tires from the car?

From my understanding, I would have to remove the front and rear roll stoppers and unbolt the tranny mount and support the engine w/ a jack while lowering the tranny down w/ another jack.

I want to be 100% sure before I go ahead and do this.

Yep, lowering the trans makes this easier. Never tried it with the axles attached myself but given the amount of suspension travel during normal driving, shouldn't be a problem.

One problem I see is the "center member assembly" will have to be removed otherwise you have no chance of lowering the trans whatsoever since it will pretty much cradle the trans and stop it from falling.
