Resolved Question on ECU compatibility

The ECM is fried in my car. its a 1991 eagle talon non turbo front wheel drive. im wondering if i can take a computer out of another talon and just throw it in mine. does it need to be reprogramed?

Nope just get another 91+ non turbo ecu and plug it in..This is the ecu guide so you know what models came with what ecu.. Eclipse Talon Laser Galant 3000GT Stealth ECU ID Reference

You will be looking for the 2.0 n/t ecu btw..

If you have a 1.8L make sure you get a 1.8L ECU 91-94
Same if you have the 2.0nt get a 2.0nt ECU 91-94
Laser, Eclipse or Talon will work.

If it's a 2.0 n/t it will..Laser, eclipse or talon 2.0 n/t..
