420A 2gNT ECU compatibility

I needed a Ecu for my 98 Rs for a good month or so, well I know that the 95-97 Ecu won't work in a 98. Now my question is will a 99 Gs Ecu work EVEN IF THE P/N and S/N doesn't match?


PLEASE I REALLY NEED HELP IM GOIN TO PICK THIS ECU UP IN 5 HOURS.

My buddy has one and he would take 150$ , its out of a 95rs and pretty much any 420a eclipse/avenger ecu will work , are you having alternator issues , he was told to replace his ecu when he was having issues, but it actually turned out that he had gotten 4 bad alternators in a row from autozone , he went to mitsubishi dealership and bought an oem one and it fixed his problem...
