question on coolant return line for those with T4 turbos

I used to have a 7 bolt water pipe which had a nipple for the coolant return line and I just ran it there with my 6262 t4. After recently getting my new Buschur stage 3 motor, I am now running the 6262 with no coolant lines. So I would say just tap somewhere close to where I circled in red with a barb fitting or whatever if you want to run a coolant return with a 6 bolt water pipe.

hmm, I wonder if I could have a fitting welded on to the pipe.

I don't see why not. Any exhaust shop should be able to do it. Probably will do it for free if you take the water pipe off. :D Or you can just eliminate your coolant lines all together. They are not necessary, you just have to let your car idle for a min or two before shutting it off to get the oil away from the turbo. I think this would be easier IMO.

No lines yet so I am up for suggestions. Here is a pic of the motor on the stand, I know the water pipe is not on there. Maybe I need to clock the housing, That blue fitting is messing with my head today for some reason, I can't see how you would run the line ( at least not according to some of the other pics I have seen)

I still suggest you don't run any coolant lines. Eliminates a lot of headaches and possible problems. But if you are set on using them, just use rubber ones and run the return line to the thermostat housing and one to the water pipe where you would get a fitting welded on. Anywhere on the water pipe will work as jusmx said above. I'm not sure what else you need to know on how to run them..

Well what you are going to need is what looks like a -6an fitting to a barb fitting. Something like this. JEGS AN Female to Hose Barb Adapter Fittings - JEGSThen just run the coolant lines like this. The blue is the feed line and the red is the return. Run the lines under the manifold and anything that would be in your way obviously.
