blocking coolant lines for non-water cooled turbos

It has been debated w/ no conclusion: When installing a non-water cooled turbo...

On a 2g is it okay to plug the water line in the block and tstat housing?

Or should you only loop them?

Opinions, facts, anyone...

I looped mine. It's so easy to loop them, I don't see why someone wouldn't?

plugging them wouldn't hurt anything either and could be just as easily done. It really doesn't matter. Just don't leave it open
take it easy.

I couldn't loop mine. The bolt stuck out too far and would hit the housing.
