So I did a search on the forum for my problem and no result. The rear coolant line on my turbo seems to be cracked, just enough to leak coolant. My thoughts since it is a hard line to cut it with a small pipe cutter behind the crack, replacing that with a longer rubber hose. Just wondering if you guys think this will be ok?

Yup! That's how mine was for a couple years til
I switched to an oil only turbo. I had a rubber hose with some sort of high temp outer layer just for good measure. Not actually sure what it was made from but it wasn't regular heater hose.

^ This one on the back..Yes you can replace with a rubber hose..Your local auto parts store should sell the hose in foot lengths for less than 2 bux.Get a foot and replace a few with the extra hose.

That's a very old picture..This is my new turbo.

I push 15 pounds on a stock intercooler, the capacity of the stock is just way to small. I think I'm gonna go with a 27x7 front mount so I can force more air out to bring in air faster. Should help the spool a hole lot

So is mine..I'm only doing 16 psi, untill I get a larger smic.

16 Psi is not pushing the 14b yet.Next year If I stick with the 14b it will be probably 20.

what smic are you getting bud??? dejon, supra?

Isn't the smic capable of a max of around 300hp???

I honestly have no idea I'm not highly educated on that part. I've just read that the faster you can push air out the more you can bring in, which will spoil the turbo a lot faster. Front mount intercoolers allow for more air flow.

Well a stock 1g ic will be enough to support 250 for sure. The dejon or supra should support 350.

If I have some freinds going FMIC I might get their stock ic's and make a hybrid.Which should in theory support 300.
