Just wondering how many of you running aftermarket ignitions are still using the factory "power transistor" to fire off the MDS/Dynatek? And if you're not..what settings are you running on you ECU to trigger the MSD correctly

I tried mine and a few customers both ways, with and without the ignitor and got WAY better results with the stock ignitor firing off the MSD everytime... Also i know a few people running straight MSD's that constantly loose their tach signal when pulling it from the MSD box it's self via a tach adapter. I've never had an issue with mine pulled from the crank trigger

a remedy for this is to tie the wire from your tach adapter (pickup lead) to the factory crank sensor trigger wire.. i've never had tach troubles running mine like this....everyone i know running it from the MSD looses their tach at least once per gear.

just throwing this out there before bed out of curiosity
