I've done this to some cars, actually tried to start a business service but marketing was shit so I stopped. Here are the steps:

 Take off headlight of course!
Heat ovne to 200-215, any hotter and say bye bye to your housing... or you'll have some cool wavy housing from it getting deformed!! LOL :thumb:
put the headlights in on a tray of some sort.
wait for about 10, remove and begin the prying process. *note* because of how old the headlights, the plastic could be brittle and you could destroy them trying to seperate them because of the crazy stong adhesive.
Understand that the heat just softens the adhesive, so when it's out of the oven, it will harden up so if you need to reinsert it into the oven do so.
Once seperated, you know what to do from there.
Reassembly, some silicone (black), and begin scraping out the old adhesive.
When you get it as clean as possible put together with silicone and let it set with some weight sqeazing it together for 24 hours.

In the position of attention... "DONE SIR, DONE!!!"
