If you run a Garrett 42R just have FP work it over to make the HTA105. Bit of an edge over the GTX4202.


Jeffs 1G was 2100lbs not long ago. Thats using titanium I/C piping and a lot of other expensive weight reduction stuff. I say since its a 2G somewhere around 2300lbs. without driver. Which is still light and will move down the track fairly well. Looking forward to seeing this hit the track.

I think for this year I'm going to stick with this turbo to see what it can do, I also have nitrous which will help out a little if I need it beyond the 60ft. mark.

I'm sorry I haven't updated this thread much, I got a new job a few months ago where I have to travel 6 months out of the year so my car time has been cut down considerably.

thanks. My plan is to have it running by August but I'm not sure if I'll have enough time. I have the major stuff done just have a lot of time consuming things left to do. As soon as its done this will be the first place I post a video.

Really nice build. That exhaust isn't going to be to close to the tire?
 
Nice build! Im interested in the doors . Were dud you get them , do the have the crash beam, do they allow for the factory provisions to be put back on them, and what do they cost?

Thanks. The CF doors have no crash beam but do have all the mounting points and threaded holes for all the oem window stuff. I got them for $800 from a kid in california that bought them from a local company.

Awesome build man!! Your getting a lot closer to your weight goals. Keep the diet on her, I want to see accually how light you can get it down to!
Thanks! I'm going to replace as much as I can on the car with light weight parts and hack the rest off. It's really easy to push around by myself already and that's with the stock suspension still on.
 
Looking forward to seeing those done. I just found some carbon fiber doors so I'll be needing to do the same.

Any updates?
Just finishing up my motor, transmission, driveshaft, axles, small brake kit and a few other small things. Should be done in 2 months or so, I will post some more pics shortly.
