Problems....Endless Problems

Hello I am new to this forum and I have been a long time viewer. I own a Pearl orange bad ass 2g dsm and I have had it for 9 years. It has been sitting for a while But I never gave up and finally got it fixed....so I thought. Long story short I have been over 4,000 grand on this car since I first put the new motor in that was about 2009. Since 2009 I have bought new parts, towed to every shop in my area paying top dollar for labor, towing and towing and towing and still I go to start this POS this morning and it will not start. It's a non turbo and I keep seem to realize how a all-motor car can be so complex and shitty.

Excuse the rant.... 2009 was when I got a new motor put in there since then I have:

New timing belt
New valve cover gasket
endless amount of spark plugs I can't even guess how many I bought
wires, oil change, gas cleaner fuel injector cleaner
new tires
towing and towing
paying for labor for shops to work on the car
new PCM after PCM after PCM
And most recently latterly and the past month up to this morning
new spark plugs
camshaft senor
crankshaft sensor
gas cleaner
fuel injector cleaner
Pcm
fuel filter
new fuel injector
fuel pump

I am so fed up I am about to give up on my dsm dreams I want to turbo this car and make 400hp ( with supporting mods of course Trust I know and seen it all from 8 sec dsms to 0-60 in 2.8 sec evo's)
I have made want to turn this shit box into a beast but I just can't get it running again.

I eventually what to do an awd conversion and evo 8 swap but I really need some help figuring out WHY THIS CAR WON'T WORK.

The shops I have taken this car to are
RC hill mitsbishi
Meinke
s&e automotive
and another shop in orange city fl that I can't remember

Honestly I love this car it is so BAD ASS pearl orange chrome rims chrome style tail lights turbo spoiler Brand new AEM cold air intake forgot to mention that. I m piss poor emotionally and just tired is there any hop for this car before I do the unthinkable and trade it or sell it?

When you burst into a forum acting like you know everything about our cars (and like you said specifically, mine "inside and out") but can't solve a simple no-start issue, don't expect the warmest of welcomes. You came off like an absolute ricer. Which I'm assuming you are, since you think your 420a with chrome taillights is fast. ANYWAY, aside from that...

I was prying to see if you had done ANY research at all for the road to 400whp and was going to make other suggestions for it. I wanted to know what you'd run for fuel, a turbo, bolt-ons, motor etc.

Yeah orange people are here to help, I have been watching this thread and can't understand why any one would build a 420 when they can by a 4g for cheaper. Take a chill pill and listen to people, if they ask questions answer them. You will get much further

upgrade turbo kit:
new: BOV, Bigger intercooler, bad ass tubular turbo manifold, 38 mm waste gate(external,cant find one any bigger that would fit aside from evos and gsx's)

top end
new intake manifold
crower camsafts (camshafts come with springs)
aem cam gears
need shop advice on weather stock valve and retainers can hold
street port on intake and exhaust ports, port and polish

then upgrade the interior and get bigger rims and body kit

I Have a job to pay for this crap and my career looks promising later on in life I can do an evo 8 swap and an awd conversion and shoot for 600awhp buschur block buschur head gt35r 10k rpms spar no expense

I have had this car for ten years I don't plan on getting rid of it ...sure I could buy an evo for 15,999 with 100k miles on it and sure I could buy a gsx but none of them would mean anything compared to the sentimental value of this car AT ALL. I think I want to see it to it's end and I do know a lot about cars but I am no mechanic nor do I have a helping hand in doing car work. But sure I could work on the car but would rather not. I was going to buy some tools and start working but couldn't before was getting bashed to all hell for saying I know about cars I THINK I HAVE A RIGHT TO SAY THAT after I have pretty much replaced everything on the damn car probably will before it's working properly.

Use Searchtempest.com to search craigslist
1. Put in your search parameters and hit "SEARCH!"
2. Pick "No stay on Search tempest"
3. In the upper center click the blue "Direct Results Mode"
4. Click the BIG blue "Open Results Windows" (if you have popups allowed and are using anything newer than IE5 then two windows should popup)
5. Blissfully search each region to your heart's content

Helpful hints:

• You can quickly search an entire chunk of the US if you search from the same computer and click on the bad cars too just to turn the links purple (visited) then it will be obvious which posted are new and fresh.

^^^ the parts list was wanted so you got a little more background on me and the car. I've had a long time to think about things this is in no way my only parts list I have made but one that was up to date until a member had me convicted I should go another route. I don't know what I want to do really my head is clouded I have to go to work in the morning and my car is going to the shop in the morning and I don't have to pay a tow truck drive for the first time in......ever......
